Mr. Kanji is responsible for the underwriting, due diligence, and closing of multifamily investments in the Eastern United States. His activities include financial and market analysis, coordination of physical and market inspections, presenting and recommending acquisitions to the principals, and publishing investment memoranda.

Prior to joining Orion Residential, Mr. Kanji was the Manager of Acquisitions and Development at the Tabani Group, a privately held real estate investment and development firm in Dallas, Texas. At the Tabani Group Mr. Kanji was responsible for evaluating, acquiring, and renovating retail and hotel properties across the United States. Mr. Kanji started his career at L.E.K. Consulting, a strategy consulting and mergers & acquisitions advisory firm, in their Chicago and London offices.

Mr. Kanji received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
